Iroc-Z Information Page

Make: Chevrolet
Model: Camaro Iroc-Z
Year: 1988
Engine: LB9 305 TPI Small Block Chevy V8
Transmission: WC-T5 | 5 Speed
Drivetrain: GM 10bolt Posi-Trac 3.08 gear ratio

I purchased the car in April 2005 with 114k miles on it.  I am the 4th owner, the car appears to have not seen too many (if any winters) due to very little undercarriage rust.  I found out shortly after the purchase that the passenger side t-top leaked, and probably had been leaking for some time.  You can see in the picture gallery just how bad it was.  Fortunately, that is the only rust on the vehicle, and donor floor pan has already been located!

I spent the summer cleaning it up, polished the wheels and drove it through the summer of 2005 (roughly 2500 miles in 5 months).  In late September, I started the interior removal, which is now completely stripped, and the car is in storage for the winter.
